WHY IS OXIDATIVE STRESS THE ROOT CAUSE OF MANY HEALTH CONDITIONS?

The human body has roughly 250 major cell types, all of which rely on a robust antioxidant defense system to function optimally. This system protects cells from various environmental and physiological stressors, limiting their deleterious impact.
Factors like poor nutrition, smoking, excessive alcohol, pollution, and specific health conditions can weaken this protective shield, leading to increased levels of oxidative stress. This vulnerability is further magnified as we age.
When our antioxidant defenses falter, cells and their molecular components become susceptible to damage from both internal and external free radicals and toxic metabolites. Given the individual differences in physiology and the etiology of oxidative stress, prolonged exposure can result in varying health conditions.
Our aim is to create precise, reliable methods for detecting redox stress and to offer targeted, natural antioxidant formulations to promote health.
